Newgistics and Kaon get new CEOs
Returns management company Newgistics Inc. has appointed Ray Greer president and CEO. He formerly was president of global network solutions and services at i2 Technologies, a supply chain management software company.
Before i2, Greer served was chairman and CEO of Esurg Corp., a medical supply procurement company. Prior to that he was president, COO and CIO for Ryder Integrated Logistics over a period of six years. He also held management positions with Federal Express Corp.
Greer succeeds C.J. "Gabe" Gabriel Jr., who left the company.
Kaon Interactive Inc., provider of 3D product presentation technology for the web, has named Jeff Melvin as president and CEO.
Melvin was CEO of Rovia, provider information management technology. He also has held senior management positions at Quadstone, MediaBridge, and Inso Corp.
"With clients like Cisco and Dell, Kaon has an amazing customer list for a company its size," said Melvin. "This illustrates a clear need for the three-dimensional product modeling services Kaon provides."
