Musicnotes.com adds Word Music Group songs to its Christian catalog
Musicnotes Inc.’s Musicnotes.com web site will be offering the song catalog of Word Music Group, one of the largest publishers of Christian music, under a long-term license agreement. Musicnotes is a market leader in downloadable sheet music.
Word Music’s song catalog includes Christian songwriters such as Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Nicole C. Mullen, and Matthew West. “We are very excited to be adding Word’s extensive catalog to Musicnotes.com,” said Musicnotes chairman Tim Reiland. “Christian sheet music represents one of the fastest growing areas of our business, and this agreement will allow Musicnotes to offer its customers a much broader selection of songs.”
The Music Word catalog doubles Musicnotes’ current Christian selections to 6,000, he said.
