TJX Companies adopt Workbrain Retail ERM solution for workforce management
Off-price retailer TJX Companies, which operates T.J Maxx, Marshalls and other discount store chains in the U.S. and abroad, expects to reduce labor cost and improve workforce management with its adoption of a web-based solution from Workbrain Inc., the company says.
Workbrain’s Retail ERM product will allow access to workforce management applications such as employee time and labor management, scheduling, attendance and leave management, as well as reporting and analytics, from a common platform that serves more than 1,800 retail stores and distribution centers employing more than 80,000 workers. Because TJX’s company operations are highly dispersed, the automated, web-based solution will not only help the company control labor costs efficiently, but also to reduce the amount of time spent administering workforce management processes, according to Workbrain. The product’s architecture will integrate readily with existing TJX infrastructure and systems, which include a variety of legacy systems in HR, back office and payroll.
“The ease-of-use, scalability, low bandwidth operating requirements and complete automation of business processes have enabled retailers to clearly understand the value our solution brings to their operating environment,” says David Stein, senior vice president at Workbrain.
