Neiman Marcus Q2 web sales climb 16.2% as total revenue increases 5.2%
The Neiman Marcus Group Inc. is reporting healthy web sales for the second quarter and the first half of its 2007 fiscal year.
While total sales for the second quarter grew 5.3% to $1.29 billion from $1.23 billion in Q2 2006, web sales grew 16.2% to $155.8 million from $134.1 million in the previous year. Overall the web accounted for 13% of total sales in the second quarter compared with 11% in Q2 2006.
For the first six months of its 2007 fiscal year, Neiman Marcus grew web sales 19.3% to $256.9 million from $213.4 million for the same period in fiscal 2006. By comparison, total sales grew 12.4% from total sales of $2.29 billion in the first half of fiscal 2006 to $2.56 billion for the first two quarters of fiscal 2007.
