SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., December 14, 2004 – Vcommerce Corporation today announced a strategic marketing, development and sales partnership with RightNow® Technologies (NASDAQ: RNOW) to offer comprehensive, on-demand solutions for multi-channel commerce and proactive customer service, targeted to retailers and manufacturers. The joint offering combines Vcommerce’s direct-to-consumer solutions and RightNow’s hosted customer service application to enable companies to provide superior experiences to their customers without the need for additional integration services.
Vcommerce`s solutions enable companies to capture, source and manage orders from such direct-to-consumer channels as online, kiosk and phone sales. The solutions are available "on-demand" – companies can choose to outsource some or all of their commerce-chain functions, or use Vcommerce`s tools to manage their initiatives internally.
