Online retail sales reached $978 million for the week ended June 6, up 11% from $883 million for the comparable week a year ago, marking the second consecutive week--and the only two weeks so far this year--that online sales failed to hit $1 billion or more, comScore Networks reports.
By comparison, total retail sales for the week ended June 5 fell 1.9% from the same week a year ago, according to ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel sales declined 9% year-over-year for the week ended June 6, to $877 million from $961 million, comScore reports.
