Names Goulding New Senior National Sales Manager
DALLAS (October 9, 2002) – DPI Merchant Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dallas-based TransFirst and a leading provider of direct marketing and Internet payment processing services, today announced that Jim Goulding has joined the company as senior national sales manager. Bob Troyer, president of DPI, said Goulding, who previously served on the Electronic Retailing Association’s Internet Council, will use his expertise and knowledge of Internet merchants and other direct marketers with highly sophisticated payment solutions to help grow DPI’s business by selling its payment services to catalogers and other card-not-present merchants.

“Jim is a highly accomplished sales executive with a proven track record of increasing sales, market share and profitability,” said Troyer. “A dynamic leader, he has demonstrated success in market identification and developing strategic solutions to meet client needs in a variety of industries. His expertise and entrepreneurial spirit is a great asset to our company.”

Prior to joining DPI, Goulding served as director of sales and strategic alliances for Internet Commerce Services Corp. (ICOM), where by introducing new sales channels within specific business units, he successfully grew ICOM ’s business by 500 percent. In addition, he spearheaded the company’s product enhancement group, which was responsible for identifying areas in which to improve service and implementing the improvements to “delight customers and earn a profit.” Goulding also has held senior sales and business development positions with Checkfree Corporation and Litle & Company, now known as Paymentech.

Goulding is an accomplished speaker and published writer. He has been featured as a guest speaker at such events as the Electronic Retailing Association’s Spring Conference, Catalog Systems Management Network, and the West Coast Infomercial Trade Exhibition and has been published in The National Infomercial Marketing Association’s (NIMA) News.

A former recruiting station commander and computer operations manager for the U.S. Army, Goulding holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire.
