Using StoreFront, Impromptu Gourmet™ online customers enjoy expanded offerings - both in dining and shopping
Kansas City, KS (January 12, 2005) – The Impromptu Gourmet™ catalog has expanded its gourmet food service and online store using LaGarde’s® StoreFront® (www.StoreFront.net) e-commerce platform.
Impromptu Gourmet™ delivers a complete gourmet dining experience.. a three-course gourmet meal, a CD of specially selected dinner music, and a “Hints for Artful and Easy Entertaining” brochure that offers suggestions for chef-style food presentation. Orders are shipped direct and arrive in an elegant gift box. The Impromptu Gourmet™ growth strategy called for a major expansion of the product line to include items such as Veal Osso Buco, Rack of Lamb, Honey Orange Duck Breast, Crab Stuffed Halibut, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Lobster Bisque and Tiramisu.
The StoreFront e-business platform was chosen primarily for its open .NET architecture and LaGarde’s ability to customize the platform to meet the expanding needs of the Impromptu Gourmet™ brand and its customers.
