Try Before You Buy: New Virtual Decorator Helps Homeowners Choose Window Treatments
MIDDLETON, Wis., Nov. 25 -- Trying to visualize what new window coverings will look like can be challenging. To arm consumers with some of the insight interior designers and decorators have, the makers of Graber(R) and Bali(R) window treatments have launched a new Internet site that allows homeowners to select dozens of window coverings in interactive room scenes.
Springs Window Fashions has introduced the Virtual Decorator feature at www.graberblinds.com and www.baliblinds.com.
With Virtual Decorator, users choose from six different room vignettes and select window treatments by color, privacy level and style preference. Users can also change the color of walls, floors, furniture, accessories, and trim within the room.
"Consumers will be able to research and visualize their custom window treatment choices before visiting their favorite decorator, designer, or retailer to view actual samples and make their purchase," said Springs Window Fashions` spokesman George Egon.
"Our Virtual Decorator for Bali and Graber will allow our customers to better educate themselves when purchasing window treatments -- all from the convenience of their homes," Egon said. "And it`s a fun way to make decorating dreams come to life!"
The site currently features cellular, wood, faux wood, and vertical products, with more products to be added throughout 2003.
"The feedback on Virtual Decorator has been extremely positive from consumers and designers/decorators alike. And we plan to add more product lines throughout 2003, as well as a Virtual Decorator for our Nanik(R) brand," Egon added.
Springs Window Fashions LP, a leading supplier of window coverings marketed under the Graber, Bali and Nanik brands, is based in Middleton, Wis., and is a subsidiary of Springs Industries, Inc., a major manufacturer and marketer of home furnishings, based in Fort Mill, S.C.
