CIRCUIT CITY SELECTS COMMERCEHUB TO ELECTRONICALLY INTEGRATE ITS SUPPLIERS AND TO MANAGE ITS DROP-SHIP FULFILLMENT PROGRAM

Albany, N.Y., January 19, 2005 –CommerceHub, the standard in drop-ship supplier integration and fulfillment management solutions, today announced that Circuit City, a leading specialty retailer of consumer electronics with more than 620 retail outlets in the U.S., will use its platform and applications to integrate and expand its drop-ship fulfillment network for its web site, www.circuitcity.com. Circuit City joins CommerceHub’s rapidly growing network of marquis retailers that include QVC, Target, Sears, Staples, ShopNBC, Costco, Federated, Kmart and thousands of suppliers and manufacturers.

CommerceHub’s Universal Connection Hub platform will enable Circuit City to rapidly integrate new suppliers and expand product selections for its on-line business while offering the high level of customer service associated with www.circuitcity.com. Further, CommerceHub’s Drop-Ship Master application will provide Circuit City with complete visibility into orders from point of sale through delivery, even without taking possession of the inventory.

“To deliver an unsurpassed shopping experience to our customers, we must expand our product offerings and, at the same time, reduce operating expenses,” said Fiona Dias, president of Circuit City Direct. “The CommerceHub platform will enable us to grow sales and reduce our inventory costs.”

“CommerceHub is proud to have been chosen by Circuit City to provide the tools necessary to integrate and manage their drop-ship suppliers. Circuit City’s decision to plug into our platform further validates CommerceHub as the standard in drop-ship integration and fulfillment management,” said Frank Poore, president & CEO of CommerceHub. “This relationship will allow Circuit City to rapidly expand its product assortment without owning or warehousing the inventory. Additionally, CommerceHub’s visibility and exception-based management applications enable Circuit City to achieve the same levels of customer service and fulfillment performance as if the goods were shipped directly from their own warehouses.”
