DENVER, December 3, 2002— J.D. Edwards & Company (Nasdaq: JDEC) has been chosen by Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) for additional enterprise software solutions and services. Wal-Mart will implement Real Estate Job Cost and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and other solutions from J.D. Edwards’ newest collaborative offering, J.D. Edwards 5. The company also will use J.D. Edwards Consulting Services to create business solution templates that can be deployed rapidly company wide. Since 1995, Wal-Mart has strived to maximize its investment and partnership with J.D. Edwards worldwide. Wal-Mart has implemented J.D. Edwards modules in the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Germany, the United Kingdom and China.
This year, Wal-Mart decided to standardize on J.D. Edwards globally for Real Estate Management, EAM and International Fixed Assets.
