Ensenda and DataTrac patner to benefit retailer and couriers

--Technology Integration Provides Retailers Real Time Access to Delivery Information; Opens up New Revenue Streams for Couriers--

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.-Oct. 8, 2002- Ensenda, Inc., and Datatrac today announced a strategic relationship to integrate Ensenda`s proprietary routing technology with Datatrac`s eTrac network. Datatrac is a leading provider of software to the courier industry and the developer of a powerful online information network called eTrac. Ensenda is the leading same day delivery service that enables customers to receive purchases in as little as 60 minutes through a network of more than 10,000 couriers.

The partnership will enable delivery requests from Ensenda retail customers to flow directly into the eTrac network, where couriers receive and process the jobs and electronically transmit delivery status information back to Ensenda in real time. The seamless integration will provide courier companies using eTrac with access to new delivery jobs from Ensenda`s North American customer base, and will lower their operating costs and increase efficiency.

"Our decision to partner with Datatrac underscores Ensenda`s commitment to strengthening the relationships with our courier partners, while simultaneously simplifying the delivery process for our customers," said Chris Mannella, CEO and President of Ensenda. "We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Datatrac."

Operating in the US and in Canada, Ensenda enables retailers to expand or introduce same day local delivery services for purchases made online, through call centers or in physical stores. Through Ensenda`s proprietary technology and established network of professional couriers, retailers are relieved of the burden of managing deliveries of all sizes. Retailers benefit through increased efficiency, reduction in cost and by creating a competitive advantage.

Ensenda`s growing roster of blue chip customers includes FAO Schwarz, The Right Start, Zany Brainy, FASTSIGNS, Kepler`s Books, LaserNetworks, as well as industry leaders in home improvement, consumer electronics and auto parts.

"Datatrac takes great pride in addressing the needs of the courier industry, and partnering with Ensenda gives eTrac customers an added advantage when competing for new business," said Craig Lotz, Chief Executive Officer of Datatrac. "Datatrac is committed to establishing relationships that enhance the value of the eTrac network by providing electronic access to our customers. Our goal is to help drive new revenue opportunities to our 320 expedited delivery customers across North America."

eTrac is the first and only independent information exchange network for the time-sensitive delivery industry. Using the Internet, it enables same day delivery companies, cartage agents and freight forwarders to electronically transmit shipping information in real-time, giving customers the same tracking capabilities as the integrated expeditors. Datatrac`s mobile data communications services, now known as Wireless eTrac, connect dispatchers and drivers in real time using Web-based cell phones.

"This is a tremendous benefit for courier companies because it brings together two strong components of our industry," said Mark Chiusano, Vice President of Airline Delivery Services in New York and President of the Messenger Courier Association of the Americas (MCAA). "From the point that the customer enters an order on the Internet, to the point of delivery, all data is input in real-time. We simply dispatch jobs to our drivers via cell phones enabled with the Wireless eTrac application, and all updates occur automatically through one system. We are delighted that Ensenda and Datatrac have joined forces."
