Lauren Boyer joins media agency Underscore

Lauren Boyer, who led interactive media and e-marketing for 14 brands at the consumer division of Wyeth, including Advil and Centrum, has joined media agency Underscore Marketing LLC as partner and chief global strategist.

Boyer will be responsible for developing agency strategy along with partners Tom Hespos and Eric Porres, and leveraging the agency’s international presence to further expansion. She will also manage the agency’s new business efforts and oversee key staff.

“With several years of sustained organic growth now behind us, we are excited to welcome Lauren aboard with the goal of accelerating that growth,” Hespos says. “We are very excited and eager to deploy Lauren’s strategic skills across our client base and on behalf of the agency itself.”

“Having been an Underscore client, I know this agency understands how to strategically leverage media to drive results,” Boyer says.

Before joining pharmaceutical and health care products company Wyeth, Boyer had been vice president of marketing at interactive start-up iAnswers.com and an independent consultant. She has 12 years of experience in multi-channel and interactive marketing.

Founded in 2002, Underscore has offices in New York City and Krakow, Poland.
