Retailer implements image server to reduce photography costs
And improve Web site functionality
SAN MATEO, CA – December 2, 2002 – TrueSpectra, Inc. The Men’s Wearhouse, known for their wide variety of men’s apparel and outstanding customer satisfaction chose TrueSpectra Image Server to improve their online shopping experience. Using single source images, the Image Server enables the online store to provide customers with high- performance zoom and pan functionality.

TrueSpectra’s Image Server integrates with leading Web development environments such as BEA WebLogic and IBM WebSphere. The software is available as a plug-in to IIS and Apache Web Servers, which eliminates the need for purchase of additional hardware, or can be installed on a dedicated server. Once installed, developers can easily manipulate images on the fly using standard HTTP query strings eliminating tedious image production tasks, therefore increasing efficiency while improving site performance. The TrueSpectra Image Server is available for Windows, Solaris, and Linux.
