Judith Roberts Joins MML as Vice President Internet Strategy to Help Clients Improve Sales, Branding, Merchandising

Petaluma, CA -- December 11, 2002 -- Multimedia Live (MML) (http://www.mmlive.com), the leading developer of e-commerce technology and services for Intelligent Selling(tm) on the Web, announced today that Judith Roberts has joined the company as Vice President Internet Strategy. Roberts will provide one-on-one support to MML clients to help them increase sales, strengthen Internet branding, and make the most of online merchandising opportunities. With over fifteen years of high profile catalog, Internet, and database marketing experience Roberts will be a valuable and knowledgeable resource to MML clients as they expand the scope of their online channels, increase the effectiveness of their online marketing efforts, boost sales, and improve customer satisfaction.

Roberts has many years of in-depth marketing experience working with leading catalogers and retailers in both the United States and in Europe. As the Director of Marketing at Bloomingdale`s By Mail, she used data analysis and modeling techniques to help synchronize marketing and merchandising efforts. She was Vice President, Marketing & E-Commerce for The Wine Enthusiast Companies (an MML client), where she orchestrated a major website redesign and managed all consumer and business-to-business marketing, e-commerce, and database activities. She has also worked with Citicorp Retail Services, Micro Warehouse, and List Maintenance Corporation in various areas: database marketing operations, managing international catalog response analysis and forecasting, and using detailed segmentation, database analysis and scoring techniques to support strategic marketing, mailing, merchandising and analytical efforts. Most recently, she ran her own marketing consulting company, focusing predominantly on website redevelopment, cross-channel merchandising, sales promotion and data integration. Roberts holds an M.B.A. from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She also has a B.S. in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She graduated with honors from both institutions.

The VP Internet Strategy position is expressly designed to complement MML clients` regular marketing efforts, to provide expert guidance and insight, and to fuse marketing and merchandising best practices with e-commerce website development and implementation. One of Judith`s biggest roles is to support MML clients as they adapt their existing business practices to the world of opportunities provided by Web technology. Specifically, she will provide strategic and marketing guidance in the following vital areas:

* Developing marketing and traffic-building programs.
* Broadening website merchandising strategies.
* Building third-party marketing relationships.
* Adding and developing website features.
* Coordinating MML`s continuing education programs for online marketing.
* Conducting industry research and benchmarking.
* Understanding and interpreting website reporting data.

"I am passionate about client support and education," said Roberts. "I want to help our clients master the potential inherent in e-commerce. As many of our customers have found, once they understand how their website integrates with all aspects of their business, they will experience improved customer loyalty, greater efficiency and increased profits. I want to help them navigate through the maze of online retailing, and support them with the strategic thinking that will tie it all together. By leveraging my new role our clients can remain focused on their core business while driving the Web to extend and improve it."

"Creating the Internet Strategist role represents the continuing effort Multimedia Live makes to support its clients with all of their e-commerce initiatives," said Ken Burke, Multimedia Live President and CEO. "I believe this role will help our clients increase online sales and improve their relationships with their customers. Judith`s services, available to our customers at no additional charge, set MML apart from its competition by providing its customers with a close partnership for long term e-commerce success."
