Online shopping hits a speed bump
Online shopping came to a virtual standstill the week ending March 16, comScore Networks Inc. reports. Web-based retail purchases grew only 5% that week, reaching $873 million for the week vs. $833 for the same week a year ago.
Online travel sales also posted their weak growth, increasing only 9% to $650 million from $595 million.
