Barbara Tulipane takes over as head of the ERA
Barbara Tulipane has become the president and COO of The Electronic Retailing Association, a trade group representing web- and TV-based merchants. The association reports that Elissa Matulis Myers has stepped down as president and CEO to pursue personal interests. Tulipane has been executive vice president of the group since 2000.
"ERA will continue its commitment to industry self regulation, international expansion and other initiatives that have advanced the electronic retailing industry to the dominant place it holds today," said Linda Goldstein, chair of the ERA board.
The Electronic Retailing Association was founded in 1990 and has a membership of 450 worldwide.
