NetLedger Inc., makers of Oracle Small Business Suite, has promoted Zach Nelson, former president and chief operating officer, to president and CEO. Former CEO Evan Goldberg has been named chief technology officer and chairman of the Board. Former chairman Larry Ellison will remain on the NetLedger Board.
Goldberg founded NetLedger in 1998 with three Oracle colleagues. The company specializes in a web-based, completely integrated ERP and CRM suite for
small and mid-size companies. Nelson joined NetLedger in 2002. Since he joined, the company says, NetLedger's revenues have grown five-fold; its workforce has doubled; and the company has reached the 6,000-customer milestone.
NetLedger's products include NetSuite, NetCRM, and Oracle Small Business Suite. They are delivered as online services, which means customers do not have to buy hardware or license software.
