Not just coupons: CoolSavings moves deeper into leads generation
CoolSavings Inc. moves deeper into the leads generation business with the official rollout of its Lead Generation Network Services. Through the new service offering, the latest addition to the company’s targeted marketing and promotions network, advertisers are able to deliver targeted promotional offers including those for samples, travel brochures, newsletters and more. The Lead Generation Network Services distribution partners are publishing sites such as media sites and portals. Marketers using the network include retailers, consumer packaged goods manufacturers and direct marketers.
The Lead Generation Network allows advertisers to gain distribution across network partner sites with a single buy. The expanded distribution of offers is a build on CoolSavings’ original model as a consumer savings site, in which it distributes targeted promotions in the form of electronic and printable coupons to media companies such as AOL and grocery stores such as the Kroger Co. and Meijer.
“Our strategic goal is to be the No. 1 provider of lead generation services on the Internet, both in terms of volume and quality. Our new Lead Generation Network Services are a strong step in that direction,” says CEO Matt Moog.
A beta user of the services, Beiersdorf-Nivea says the network already accounts for more than 30% of daily lead volume for the company’s Nivea for Men program. “It’s helped NIVEA for Men broaden its reach and scale across the Internet,” says Pauline Oudin of Beiersdorf-Nivea’s agency, RDA International.
