Online retail sales grew 10% for week ending July 18, comScore reports
Online retail spending was up 10% for the week ending July 18 from the corresponding week a year ago, reaching $1.13 billion from $1.02 billion last year, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
For the first time this year, total retail sales grew faster than online retail sales, up 10.6% for the week ending July 17, ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate reports. ShopperTrak attributes the growth to clearance sales the first two weeks of the month.
Online travel sales were up 29% for the week ending July 18 from a year ago, reaching $1.16 billion from $900 million, comScore reports.
