Leading UK Retailer Will Use Yantra 5x to Streamline In-Store Customer Ordering Operations and Improve Customer Satisfaction
NEW YORK CITY (National Retail Federation Convention and EXPO, Booth #551) - January 13, 2003 - Yantra Corporation (www.yantra.com), the leading provider of supply chain solutions for the extended enterprise, today announced that Allders, a leading UK retailer with 46 department stores and annual revenue of circa £600million, has selected Yantra for customer order fulfillment after a thorough evaluation. Allders will use Yantra Distributed Order Management, Yantra Inventory Synchronization and Yantra Supply Collaboration - all components of the Yantra 5x product suite - to reduce costs, increase sales and improve the customer experience as orders are captured in-store for home delivery.
With Yantra, Allders will be able to fulfill orders for different products using various fulfillment methods, collaborate efficiently with third-party suppliers and provide customers with up-to-the-minute updates on the progress of their orders. Yantra will enable Allders to improve customer satisfaction by ensuring that the right product is delivered to the right customer at the right time.
