AntiqueParlor.com forms alliance with Eppraisals.com

Online antiques dealer AntiqueParlor.com, an aggregator of the inventories of antique dealers nationwide, has announced an alliance with Eppraisals.com, the largest online antique appraisal company. Under the agreement, AntiqueParlour.com clients get direct access to Eppraisals.com’s more than 750 experts, who provide expertise in some 300 categories of antiques and collectibles. "Eppraisals.com experts give our clients qualified, third-party evaluation and thus a greater degree of confidence during this process," says Karen Vellines, president of AntiqueDealer.com. Dealers featuring products on AntiqueParlor.com also will benefit, as they’ll be able to provide Eppraisals.com certification next to any of their products displayed on the site, notes Scott Buelter, AntiqueDealer.com CEO. AntiqueParlor.com, located in Newport Beach, Calif., launched in December 2000. Eppraisals.com debuted in February 2000; both companies target a high-end antiques and collectibles marketplace estimated at $12 billion worldwide.
