Boynton Beach, Florida, Jan. 20, 2003 -- ABM Transportation Inc. announces the immediate availability of the approved, proven and cost effective VICS BOL software module which can be easily and rapidly integrated into the daily shipping procedures of all who ship their products to the nations retailers.

The retail industry organization, Voluntary Interindustry Commerce Standards (VICS) designed the BOL and VICS retail members are now demanding that all of their suppliers use this standard Bill of Lading. Thus, rapid implementation of the VICS standard will allow each vendor to maintain good customer relations and at the same time avoid costly and repetitive non-compliance penalties.

The ABM ExpressPlus® product line contains the approved, automated VICS format both as a DLL (callable by an internal user application) and/or as a stand-alone module at each shipping point. It`s also currently being converted to a web-based application. VICS member companies including Georgia Pacific, Black and Decker, Polo, Perry Manufacturing, Kraco, etc. are already using ABM software.
