800.com adds more wireless products

Portland, OR-based 800.com Inc., a leading specialty electronics retailer, is adding Sprint PCS rate plans to its wireless store, which already features AT&T plans. It also is adding new high-tech tools to help shoppers select rate plans and buy, upgrade and accessories wireless phones.

A key store features is the new Wireless Accessory Matcher, a service that enables shoppers to find and order all relevant accessories for wireless products. The company says that these enhancement solidify 800.com’s foothold in the wireless phone market. In May, 800.com acquired the assets of Roxy.com and Everything Wireless, a buy that marked its entrance into the wireless market. The company now offers more than 75 categories of leading brand consumer electronics.

800.com’s Wireless Store will feature a broad selection of phone models from leading brands like Nokia, Motorola, Ericcson and others. The store offers shopping tips, comparison guides, discussion forums and access to 800.com’s product experts by phone, live chat or e-mail.
