Shannon Byrne Named Chair of ETA`s Internet Committee
Whistler, BC - Jan 29, 2003 -- Shannon Byrne, President and CEO of Paradata Systems Inc. was appointed Chair of the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) Internet Committee. This committee is comprised of individuals with leadership positions in the electronic payments industry including acquirers, processors, payment service providers, and consultants. The goal of this committee is to understand the needs of those ETA members that provide electronic services to the merchant community and make recommendations to the ETA Board on how to better serve its members.

The committee is currently undertaking a survey of ETA Members and plans to submit its findings and recommendations to the ETA Board in April 2003.
