Newgistics Names Kenneth W. Johnson Senior Vice President of Sales
Seasoned Business Process Outsourcing Veteran Joins Leading Returns Management Firm
AUSTIN, TX - February 5, 2003 - Newgistics, Inc., the leader in returns management solutions for direct retail companies, today announced the appointment of Kenneth W. Johnson as senior vice president of sales. In his new role, Johnson will lead Newgistics` sales team and will be responsible for managing the company`s consultative sales organization and retail returns practice.
Johnson brings over 21 years of sales, marketing and operational experience to Newgistics. Formerly with SalesLogic, a Dallas-based sales consulting and outsourcing firm, he was responsible for the creation and management of complete sales organizations, go-to-market strategies, sales process development, implementation and staffing for numerous Fortune 500 clients. His sales teams had revenue responsibilities in excess of $100 million. Prior to SalesLogic, Johnson managed sales and operational teams focused on business process outsourcing with ACS Inc., the leading provider of business process outsourcing services to Global 500 companies. Previously, Johnson held various sales and marketing management positions within IBM Corporation for 15 years. At IBM Johnson earned numerous top awards, including the Golden Circle and President`s awards.
