Buy.com redesigns its web site and starts a contest
Aliso Viejo, CA-based Buy.com Inc. has revamped its web site and launched a contest to draw customers to the new site. Buy.com says its new design revolves around an easy-to-navigate user interface that will simplify the buying process, allowing customers to select from buy.com`s large selection of name brand electronics, movies, music and computer hardware and software, quickly and easily.
Buy.com is also instituting a “Price Mistake of the Day” feature that will highlight exceptional bargains and will offer a "Low Price Guarantee," in which the company will match many online competitors` prices if the buy.com price is not already lower.
The company also announced a $5,000 buy.com shopping spree contest that will run through the middle of October.
