Portland, OR-based 800.com Inc., an online retailer of electronics, movies and music, has named Holly Files to the newly created position of chief information officer. Files will oversee all of 800.com's information services, including technology systems for the company's web site, customer services and internal operations.
Files has 23 years of experience in emerging technologies, most recently as vice president worldwide service at Net IQ/Webtrends. She has also held executive-level positions at Radiant Systems/RapidFire Systems, Sequent and Clientele Software.
