Paymentech Partners with Yaga to Offer Digital Content Commerce Services

Yaga`s advanced Digital Content Commerce Solution enhances Paymentech`s processing services

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Sept 17, 2003 -- Yaga, Inc., the leading provider of advanced payment services for digital content and online businesses, announced today that Paymentech, one of the nation`s leading debit and credit card processors, is now offering Yaga`s Digital Content Commerce Solution to their merchant customers.

Paymentech supports merchants in both brick-and-mortar and cyber storefronts throughout the U.S. and processes transactions in 14 different currencies, including the Euro. The newly formed Yaga-Paymentech relationship provides Paymentech`s online merchants with the technology to easily sell both physical and digital content at the same time, such as news articles, music or software from their websites.

Yaga and Paymentech currently serve many joint clients with their combined technology for digital content commerce in the media and entertainment space. One such client is Tribune Media Services (TMS), the largest syndicate of news, comics and puzzles on the web.

"Pairing the Yaga and Paymentech services enables us to be more flexible and creative in developing new price/packaging options for our digital content," said Fred Kopplow, TMS business development analyst. "The combined solution also enabled us to enter the market quickly."

"Yaga`s Digital Commerce Solution gives our merchants the power to create new revenue by selling their online content," said Kerry A. Kodatt, group executive, Paymentech Corporate Alliances. "It does not require our merchants to purchase any additional equipment, and best of all, it`s a flexible service based on the individual merchant`s needs."

"Paymentech is one of the nation`s leading payment processors, and we are pleased to be partnering with them to offer web-based merchants the power of digital content payments," said Steve Elefant, COO and president of Yaga. "Paymentech has always supplied its merchants with superior products and services. Now with Yaga, they can help merchants create new revenue streams from the direct sale of digital content."
