BestBuy launches a music downloading web site

BestBuy.com today launched a digital download web site that features commercial music downloads from all five major record labels. The site, powered by RioPort, a music application service provider, offers downloads from EMI, AOL Time Warner and BMG and will make content from other labels available in the near future. Customers can download music as well as purchase CDs and tapes from the artists. Shoppers can access the site from www.bestbuy.com or directly at www.rioport.com/bestbuy.
