Coremetrics appoints Jeff Schmidt worldwide VP of sales
Jeff Schmidt has been named vice president of worldwide sales at web analytics provider Coremetrics. Most recently he was vice president of the enterprise business unit of online meeting services provider WebEx.
“Jeff’s extensive experience, specifically his deep knowledge of how to successfully expand an on-demand business model and his work with large corporations on an international level, will be key to implementing our aggressive overseas growth plans and entry into new industry sectors,” says Joe Davis, Coremetrics CEO. Schmidt will report directly to Davis.
To his new role, Schmidt brings more than 15 years of information systems and technology experience. Prior to WebEx, where he also had held other positions, including vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific and Japan, he was vice president and general manager for the Americas at Blue Pumpkin Software. Schmidt also served as director of global account sales for Lucent technologies and has held positions with Octel Communications and VMX Systems Inc.
