Search marketing company Did-It searches within to find new CTO
Did-It search marketing has a new chief technology officer: John Merryman, formerly of DoubleClick, is leading the development of Did-It’s Maestro product, an optimization technology.
“John’s been a proven leader in translating client needs into intelligent, robust technology solutions. That thought leadership was why we bought John to Did-It a year ago and why we are making him CTO now,” says Brian Silver, COO.
Merryman’s career in media products development includes a number of product management roles at DoubleClick, where he served from 1999 to 2005. Among them, he oversaw development both for Dart, the third-party online ad server, and Dart API.
“At Did-It I’ve had the pleasure of helping advance what was already the most sophisticated technology in the search space,” says Merryman. “Serving as Did-It’s CTO means leading that technology’s development to the next level.”
