Supply chain provider QRS Corp. appoints a new CEO
Richmond, CA-based QRS Corp., a provider of web-based global sourcing and supply chain management solutions for the retail industry, has appointed Elizabeth Fetter as president and CEO. Fetter replaces John Simon, who will remain with the company as executive vice president of Strategy and Business Development and will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
Fetter has more than 20 years of senior management experience, including most recently as president and CEO of NorthPoint Communications. Prior to that, as a consultant, Fetter advised retail and consumer goods companies on global initiatives.

We are very excited to have Liz join us as CEO,`` said QRS chairman of the board Peter Johnson. ``We are confident that Liz is the right person to lead our senior management team in refining and implementing our strategy to improve performance and growth.”
Before her position at NorthPoint, Fetter headed US West`s $5 billion Consumer Services Group with more than 11 million customers and led its e-business initiative. Fetter also has held executive positions in business, strategy, finance, sales, marketing and general management at SBC, Pacific Bell and Marakon Associates.
