Syncra Xt™ Version 5.0 extends Syncra`s capabilities in event collaboration, demand planning and continuous replenishment

This fifth-generation technology supports large-scale, multi-tier deployments of four critical business-to-business processes:

The Syncra Xt solution is modular and extensible. Customers can use Syncra Xt in conjunction with their existing enterprise planning applications, implement a single Syncra application on the Syncra Xt platform to solve a particular business problem, or deploy the full Syncra Xt application suite to manage the full range of value chain collaboration initiatives across their customer/supplier network. The Syncra Xt platform provides highly flexible and scalable data aggregation, allocation, exception management, metrics calculation, reporting, security and collaboration facilities for all the applications in the environment.

Syncra Events™ is the newest application in the Syncra product suite. It addresses the supply chain volatility and uncertainty created by promotional events, which have a major impact on sales volume in the retail channel. Syncra Events helps both retailers and manufacturers coordinate the details and lifecycle of temporary price reductions, new product introductions, store openings and other special events that dramatically affect demand, while greatly improving the accuracy and efficiency of the promotion planning and execution process. With Syncra Events, companies can engage customers and/or suppliers in volume planning and logistics, handle any exceptions as they occur, and evaluate performance for the benefit of future events.
