Another online store deal for Sport Supply Group

Dallas-based Sport Supply Group Inc. is racking up the online stores for youth participant sports. A day after it announced that it would operate the online store of American Youth Football, it announced it will operate the online store for YouthsportsUSA.com.

YouthsportsUSA.com manages web sites for more than 30,000 youth sports leagues across the United States. The company was created to allow all youth sports leagues to create and maintain their own web pages. It began business in April 1997.

Each league’s site includes separate pages for categorizing information for players, league members, and others interested in the league information. Leagues can update sites instantaneously so last minute delays can be posted. Each web site offers standings, schedules, results, summaries, important announcements and directions to fields.

"Our latest agreement with YouthsportsUSA.com is by far our largest and most far-reaching marketing venture,” said John P. Walker, president of Sport Supply Group. “This agreement will allow SSG to exclusively market its products to more than 7 million children and other youth sports participants through the YouthsportsUSA.com network."

SSG markets and distributes sporting goods to institutions in the United States, including schools, colleges, universities, government agencies, camps and youth organizations.
