Norm Thompson re-launches three web sites
Norm Thompson Outfitters Inc. has re-launched its three web sites to automate previously manual processes. Norm Thompson, which has been online for three years, operates the normthompson.com, earlywinters.com and solutionscatalog.com. The sites are powered by e-commerce software from Multimedia Live, which also designed the sites.
The sites now feature expanded back-order functionality, messaging that lessens the need for customers to phone the call centers, catalog quick order, advanced search and an expanded sale section. The new sites also allow customers to order personalized monogramming of products online, a feature that previously required a call to a customer service representative. Customers can also purchase and redeem gift certificates online. The design also will permit future integration with back-end systems from Ecometry.
The Norm Thompson site has new information about the company’s sustainability practices, outlining its commitment to conducting business in an environmentally friendly manner. The Solutions site, which offers products for the home, has an expanded household tips section. The Early Winters site is branded for selling clothing and gear for the Northwest, and features an Adventures section about outdoors activities in the Northwest. Early Winters has a sustainability section similar to Norm Thompson’s.
