Online car buyers research Hondas and Toyotas the most
Hondas and Toyotas are the most researched new vehicles on the Internet, says a new study from Kelley Blue Book, an automotive information services company.
Based on an analysis of more than 60 million unique visitors to KBB.com, Kelley says the Honda Civic and Accord are the most researched vehicles, followed closely by the Toyota Camry, Corolla and RAV 4. Rounding out the top 10 on KBB.com`s most researched list were Honda’s Pilot, Odyssey and CR-V, Toyota’s Highlander and the Chevrolet Tahoe.
The next most researched cars include the Ford Mustang, Nissan Altima, BMW 325, Acura TL, Toyota Sienna, 4Runner and Avalon, Ford Escape, Infiniti G35 and Mazda3.
“What’s interesting is that three entry-level luxury vehicles made the most researched list for the first half of 2006: BMW 325, Acura TL and Infiniti G35,” says Jack Nerad, executive editorial director and market analyst at KBB.com. “These three have definitely become brands and vehicles the public aspires to drive and own.”
