Albertson’s expands online grocery shopping to San Diego

Building on a successful two–year test in Seattle, Albertson’s Inc. is expanding its Albertsons.com online grocery service to San Diego. The service offers home delivery or pick-up at any of 38 stores in San Diego.

Albertsons.com fulfills online orders from shelf inventory at local stores. Customers pay $9.95 for delivery and $5.95 for pick-up. They can choose a 1 ½ hour window for delivery. Orders placed before 10 a.m. will be available after 5 p.m. Orders placed by midnight will be available the next day.

Albertson’s operates more than 2,500 retail stores in 36 states.
