DoubleClick Releases DARTmail® 4.0, Enhancing its Email Management Service
Orlando, FL, October 14, 2003 --- DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq: DCLK), the leading provider of marketing tools for advertisers, direct marketers and web publishers, today announced the launch of DARTmail 4.0 at the DMA Annual Conference in Orlando. DARTmail 4.0, an enhanced email platform that addresses the growing demands of marketers and publishers, provides customers with advanced reporting capabilities, enhanced subscription management tools and integration with DoubleClick Ensemble(tm), its marketing automation platform, and its ChannelView® cross-channel analysis tool.
DARTmail 4.0, which represents the most significant enhancements since the launch of the product, was enhanced with the specific needs of the marketer and publisher in mind. The product offers sophisticated and customizable reporting for both marketers and publishers, integration with DoubleClick Ensemble and ChannelView for marketers, and subscription management tools for publishers.
Designed to give customers greater insight into their email initiatives, new reports within DARTmail 4.0 include customizable delivery and response reports from a wide area of metrics and data, automatic report capabilities and ad hoc reporting in multiple formats, response curve reporting and list and purchase reporting for publishers.
Integration with the DoubleClick Ensemble campaign management software and ChannelView cross-channel analysis tool, in addition to the previous integration with the SiteAdvance website measurement and analysis tool, provides customers with an integrated marketing automation suite for the management, planning, execution and analysis of their multi-channel marketing campaigns.
"We expect DARTmail 4.0`s enhanced reporting system to give us an even deeper level of response data on our customers` campaigns enabling us to provide greater analysis and even stronger strategic support," said Eri Golembo, EVP, Acceleration eMarketing. "The new custom report capabilities will also allow us to tailor reports for each of our individual customers to further bolster the service we provide to them."
"While we`ve had a great experience using DARTmail 3.5, we are especially excited about the new reporting and subscription list management functionality in DARTmail 4.0," said Joe Slepski, DM2 (formerly Cahners Business Lists). "In particular, the list reporting capability provides crucial metrics on list data such as list subscription, churn and mailing history. These additional reports give us far greater insight into our subscriber base, helping us make better and more strategic business decisions."
DARTmail is part of DoubleClick`s Marketer Solutions Division, which together with UnityMail email software platform, provides email solutions to more than 300 marketers and publishers globally including Procter and Gamble, FedEx, Conde Nast, Sony Style and Primedia.
"Together with unparalleled service and support, strategic and professional services, and industry leading training and expertise, world-class technology is a cornerstone of DoubleClick`s Premier email service offering," said Scott Knoll, Vice President and General Manager of DoubleClick`s Marketer Solutions Division. "While the enhancements that we have made to DARTmail are important in maintaining our competitive edge in the email space, integrating DARTmail with ChannelView and Ensemble, in addition to its previous integration with SiteAdvance, gives DoubleClick`s customers unique access to a truly integrated marketing suite for managing multi-channel marketing campaigns."
