Direct Marketer To Take Advantage Of CommercialWare`s Ecometry Replacement Program; Migrates From NT/SQL Solution to IBM iSeries
Natick, Mass – March 10, 2003 - CommercialWare Inc., the leading provider of cross-channel commerce infrastructure software, today announced that Jenson USA, a direct marketer of premium mountain biking accessories, selected CommercialWare`s cross-channel retail solutions to better service its customers, as it becomes a true cross-channel retailer. In addition, Jenson USA is one of the customers to take advantage of CommercialWare`s Ecometry Replacement Program by migrating from Ecometry`s NT/SQL-based solutions to CommercialWare`s IBM iSeries-based.
By providing the infrastructure for an integrated solution, Jenson USA has turned to CommercialWare for its order management, customer service, fulfillment, analytics and integration applications. Jenson USA has selected CommercialWare`s CWDirect product suite to support orders from both the Internet and catalog. In addition, the direct marketer is using CWData to turn its multi-channel transactions into business intelligence, and CWIntegrate to closely integrate CommercialWare`s suite with other core applications in the enterprise.
Jenson USA, which was founded ten years ago by President and CEO, Mike Cachat -- a competitive racer who spent his off hours tuning up his bikes and those of his friends -- sells bikes and accessories via a quarterly catalog, a Web site, and later this year, through its first retail store. CommercialWare`s CWDirect will help Jenson USA expand its business by streamlining business processes, such as order management, fulfillment and inventory as well as enhancing customer service.
Jenson USA is one of the several customers who will migrate from Ecometry`s suite to CommercialWare`s via the Ecometry Replacement Program. This program was designed for dissatisfied users of Ecometry`s software running on the soon to be discontinued HP3000 systems or any other platform. The program offers special conversion pricing packages that includes aggressive discounted license and hardware fees and an affordable, defined services conversion methodology.
