Calendar Essentials™ to Allow Borders to Plan Marketing Activities Based on Reliable and Accurate Market Data at Local, Regional and National Level
PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 13 -- Rentrak Corporation (Nasdaq: RENT) today announced that it has licensed its Calendar Essentials™ software services to Borders Inc., a subsidiary of Borders Group Inc. (NYSE: BGP), which is a leading global retailer of books, music and movies operating more than 1,200 Borders and Waldenbooks stores.
Executives and managers at Borders will use Calendar Essentials™ to quickly access the key business intelligence information they need to make fast, well-informed decisions about scheduling and implementing marketing campaigns, scheduling and buying advertising, planning promotions and staffing their businesses.
