April 2, 2002 -- Permission Interactive, Inc. announced the grand opening of www.AsSeenOnTvWholesale.com, DRTV’s first and only automated online wholesale marketplace.
ASOTvW’s mission is to significantly expand the market for DRTV products to the retail marketplace. ASOTvW’s innovative state-of-the-art online software facilitates wholesale purchases of DRTV products by thousands of potential retail resellers from product marketers.
“There are literally thousands of outlets large and small that are interested in selling as seen on TV products. But since most DRTV marketers are focused on selling direct to consumers, their wholesale infrastructures and sales are highly underdeveloped. ASOTvW is responsible for collecting the money and paying the product marketer. “This system gives the marketer the greatest amount of sales and control at the same time”, said Greenstone.
