Coremetrics exec joins Bazaarvoice as VP of sales
Michael Osborne has joined Bazaarvoice, a supplier of technology and services to support customer ratings and reviews on marketers’ web sites, as vice president of sales. He will be responsible for driving sales efforts with a focus on Top 100 retailers, according to the company.
Most recently, Osborne was director of client services at on-demand web analytics provider Coremetrics, which Bazaarvoice founder and CEO Brett Hurt also founded and previously served as vice president of client services. At Coremetrics, Osborne built relationships with multi-channel retailers and travel service, business-to-business and financial service organizations. Previously, he held sales and engineering positions at Intel, Microsoft and Trilogy.

Bazaarvoice’s offering includes outsourced technology, community monument services, analytics and syndication to harness word-of-mouth marketing.
