WorldPay launches e-mall with goods from small craft shops around the world

WorldPay Inc., a multi-currency transaction processor, this week launched a global shopping program, but with a twist: instead of just aggregating merchandise from retailers, ShopatWorldPay.com aggregates direct access to international e-retailers. ShopatWorldPay is an international online mall that links shoppers to selected e-retailers around the world to give them access to merchandise not commonly available in conventional retail or online malls. It offers goods from more than 2,000 international merchants organized into 24 departments, searchable by category, name or location.

Among the international boutiques accessible on the site are Chinesejade.com, a family business in Hong Kong that gets jade directly from China and Burma; Trinimusic.com, a music and video store focused on Trinidad and Tobago; and IQToys.com, an Australian toy site.

WorldPay screens all retailers in advance and on an ongoing basis for financial credibility and reliability, and provides post-sale support to consumers. "Whatever consumers are shopping for, ShopatWorldPay can deliver it safely and reliably,” says Nick Ogden, WorldPay CEO. “The sheer diversity of ShopatWorldPay ensures that consumers who try it this holiday season will get hooked on global e-commerce.”
