eMachines Retains Channel Intelligence To Assist In Online Retail Partner Sales

Celebration, Fla. (November 10, 2003) -- Channel Intelligence, Inc. today announced that eMachines, the third-largest provider of desktop PCs in the United States according to IDC, recently retained the company to direct online eMachines customers to its retailer partners’ Web sites to purchase products.

Using Channel Intelligence`s Channel Buy Links service, online customers are able to move from eMachines` product information page to point-of-purchase pages on the retail partner sites with two mouse clicks.

eMachines also uses Channel Intelligence`s Product Pinpointer to allow customers to locate nearby stores that have the manufacturer`s product in stock by inputting their zip code. eMachines products are sold in major consumer electronics retail stores.

"We want to make it easy for our customers to buy merchandise online while maintaining our strong alliance with our retail partners," said Ed Fisher, senior vice president of Global Sales Operations at eMachines based in Irvine, Calif. "We have easily accomplished this goal using two of Channel Intelligence`s tools. Customers can now either purchase directly from the online retailer or find the location of a store in their area that sells our products and visit it in person."

eMachines is one of more than 70 consumer electronics and computer products manufacturers who are now using one or more of Channel Intelligence`s software and services.
