Home Impressions, Inc. and Home Impressions Environmental, LLC go with CERICOMX®
FRANKLIN, Mass. November 7, 2003 – Integrated Software Systems, LLC (ISS) announced today that Home Impressions, Inc. and Home Impressions Environmental, LLC (“Home Impressions”) have partnered with ISS in order to translate and upload their product information into the UCCnet™ GLOBALregistry® utilizing the flagship ISS e-catalog, CERICOMX®.
Home Impressions will use CERICOMX® in order to communicate all of its product information with its trading partners. ISS is a founding member of the brand new UCC Solution Partner Program and CERICOMX® is fully certified under UCCnet™ Version 2.2, synchronizing data both with the UCCnet™ GLOBALregistry® and with the Item Registry. ISS was the first UCCnet™ Alliance Partner to have been certified on UCCnet™ version 2.1, the first UCC Solution Partner to have been certified on version 2.2 and the first solution provider to register production data with the brand new UCCnet™ XSD GLOBALregistry®.
CERICOMX® fully supports hardline specific core, extended and class specific attributes as well as XSD and DTD communications under UCCnet™ version 2.2.
A study recently completed by A.T. Kearney estimated that $40 billion, or 3.5 percent of total sales in the retail industry, is lost each year due to supply chain information inefficiencies. The study demonstrated that approximately 30 percent of item data in master retail catalogs is erroneous and that due to incorrect data 60 percent of all invoices generated errors and 43 percent of all invoices resulted in deductions.
