Second quarter 2006 revenue for analytics provider WebSideStory Inc. increased 62% to $15.24 from $9.4 million a year earlier, the company reports. Non-GAAP revenue was $16.8 million. The company also reported that its WebSideStory and Visual Sciences operations booked more than 130 new clients in the quarter. The company now has more than 1,400 clients.
Net loss for the quarter was $2.4 million vs. income of $1.2 million a year ago. The company reported Q2 non-GAAP net income of $2.0 million, which includes deferred revenue related to its Visual Sciences merger and excludes stock-based compensation, amortization of intangibles and other non-cash items.
For the first half of the year, revenue reached $28.69 million, up 75% from first half 2005 revenue of $16.37 million. First-half loss was $4.17 million vs. income of $2.33 million a year earlier.
