Newly divorced Guild.com starts a marketing rebuilding campaign
Madison, WI-based Guild.com, rebuilding its brand after a brief ownership by Ashford.com, has struck deals to be a featured merchant at Yahoo Shopping and Visa.com. It also will be part of the Celebrated Living Winter Gift Guide which is distributed to first- and business-class passengers at American Airlines.
At Yahoo Shopping, Guild.com will advertise in the Arts, Antiques & Collectibles, Designer & Luxury, Jewelry & Watches and Weddings categories. In the Visa.com deal, Guild will offer special discounts to Visa cardholders. Other companies participating in the Visa.com promotion include Martha Stewart, Orvis and The Sharper Image. Guild.com also recently struck a deal with the Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts in Racine, WI, for 10% of museum members’ purchases to be donated to the craft museum’s capital campaign.
Guild.com says recent sales have been 300% above plan.
