Beenz.com consider its restructuring options
Beenz.com, the online currency, is reconsidering its global operations. The company is reportedly seeking to reduce staffing in its London office, although the company will neither confirm nor deny the report. The London office employs 45. Beenz issued a statement saying, : “Beenz.com’s Board of Directors has been conducting an in-depth analysis of the company, including a strategic review of its global business operations. One outcome of this review calls for beenz to further restructure its UK operations. This restructuring will result in a number of redundancies in the London office. The company will continue to service the global beenz consumer network from its London office, and the new rewardzCodes off-line product will continue to be available. beenz.com will closely monitor market developments in Europe in order to evaluate future opportunities. The company is also in discussions with several potential strategic partners, the goal of which is to enable the long-term future and value of the beenz business.” Beenz laid off 28 last year.
