ValueClick appoints three executives to online marketing units
ValueClick, a diversified provider of online marketing products and services, has appointed three general managers for its Commission Junction affiliate marketing, Mediaplex marketing management and Mediaplex Systems marketing technology units.
ValueClick named Kerri Pollard as general manager of Commission Junction responsible for its U.S. offices in Boston, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, CA, and Westlake Village, CA. Pollard is a former executive of affiliate marketing firm BeFree who joined Commission Junction when the two companies merged in 2003.
In her most recent role at Commission Junction, Pollard served as vice president of client development-East, managing East Coast account teams for advertiser and publisher clients. In prior work, she managed teams at BeFree and Commission Junction responsible for advertiser and publisher development and introduced such initiatives as the CJ Performer program, which facilitates strategic relationships between publishers and advertisers in affiliate networks.
ValueClick promoted Ann Hoey from vice president of operations to general manager of Mediaplex, which offers marketers tools for managing display advertising and e-mail programs. Hoey joined Mediaplex in 2000 from Levi Strauss & Co. In her new position, she will be responsible for all operations of the Mediaplex division.
ValueClick promoted Sean Quick from senior director of product development to general manager of Mediaplex Systems, a provider of advertising agency management software for financial, production and media management. A 9-year veteran of Mediaplex Systems, Quick has served in several positions including director of technical services and was involved in the releases of Mediaplex technology for managing e-mail, search engine marketing and affiliate marketing programs.
Last year, he was involved in the introduction of Mediaplex’s Channel Performance Suite, which integrates multiple products to let marketers deploy, track and analyze all of their online marketing programs in a single system.
